I just started as an
Inner Circle member in February but I had lots of your other
videos before that. Your videos and comments in the Horsemen
Report, have really helped me improve my riding and training
skills. I started with a green horse since I couldn’t afford a
finished one. With a lot of hard work, your training program and
help from my friend Connie, I won “Novice Champion” of 2001 for
the Pennsylvania Team Penning Association.
It’s a great feeling
when I kick butt with my little $2500 backyard horse that I
trained myself. Especially since many of the folks I compete with
are riding professionally trained horses they paid a lot of money
for.
I keep all your
“insider secrets” to myself but I do tell Connie, since I
sometimes work goats or a mechanical cow at her place. She really
likes your teaching style too.
I’ve enclosed a
photo
of my horse and me, just so you could see her. I bought her at an
auction because I thought she was pretty and I just hoped I could
turn her into a cow horse. And as it turned out, with your help, I
did. Thank you.

Larry, I want you to know that
Gil, my husband, and I are VERY pleased with your video package.
We had it maybe 3-4 weeks prior to the first time Gil showed our 3
year old APHA stallion, Elbe Sure A Classic (We call him Butch).
After Gil watched the first tape on spinning, Butch’s attempts
were much cleaner. Then after he watched the stopping tape, things
really started improving! Your explanation of rider errors REALLY
alerted Gil to the fact he was cueing wrong (at the wrong time)
for the spins and the stops.
When we took the horse to the
Breeders Choice Futurity in Spring Grove, MN on Aug 20, it was the
first time they were in an arena big enough to slide in, the first
time they had ever done an actual pattern and their first time to
show in reining! Competition was not stiff, but we WON THE
FUTURITY!
Your tapes
