I want to thank you for ordering by offering you…

Free Bonus Videos Produced by the
Noble Foundation Horse Symposium

But, you must order now before they're gone!

OK, listen up because this incredible offer is available for a limited time only.

Through a friend, I have been able to get my hands on some absolutely outstanding training videos. They are so good I couldn’t believe I didn’t know of their existence! The videos were shot at the Horse Symposium III by the Noble Foundation. I think you’ll find these videos contain some of the best information you’ll ever see.

Let me tell you a little bit about these videos.

bullet The first video features renowned bit maker Greg Darnall. Greg does an excellent job explaining everything you ever wanted to know about bits. He goes into detail about different mouth pieces and shanks. He explains how they work and what they are designed to do. He also explains what type of bit is suitable for different horses and events. This video is a definite “must have” for every serious horseman.

bullet The second video features top reining trainer Dick Pieper. Dick gives an incredible demonstration of how to train a horse using the hackamore (bosal). In detail, he describes how to fit the hackamore; what to do with your hands and legs to achieve lightness with form; and the specifics of teaching a horse to stop, rollback, spin and circle. A super video.

bullet The third video is Bob Loomis giving a training demonstration like you’ve never seen before. Bob was at his absolute best. His explanations of how to train and show reining horses are superb. The demonstration was held before a large crowd of spectators and Bob invited them to ask questions. They did. His answers are some of the best advice I’ve ever heard. I feel this is the most informative video Bob has ever done.

These three outstanding videos have never been seen by the public. They have never been offered for sale and they never will be. I was lucky to have been able to acquire these tapes and I’m going to give them to you free as a bonus when you purchase my training videos. Read the detailed video descriptions below.

“Bits & Bitting For Your Horse”
With Greg Darnall

Let me ask you a question. What do you know about bits? I’m serious. My guess is the average horse owner can recite everything he knows about bits in 60 seconds or less. Even experienced horsemen can’t tell you much about how different bits work. And yet, this knowledge is critical if you expect your horse to perform well.

Do you know there are a lot of training problems that can be attributed directly to the bit you use? And yes, having good hands is important but the best hands in the world can’t overcome the handicap of using the wrong bit.

When choosing a bit for a particular horse there are so many things to consider. Does the horse need a bit that’s under-balanced or over-balanced? How much “signal” should the bit have? What pressure points does the bit utilize? Does this particular horse require a bit that has a slow release or a quick release? Does the horse need a bit that’s light in weight or heavy?

And the list goes on. All these things are important to know.

With this video you’ll get a very thorough education from professional bit maker Greg Darnall. Greg’s not only a top-notch bit maker. He’s also an expert horseman. He knows what he’s talking about. You’re going to get valuable information that few people are fortunate enough to receive.

Here’s what you’ll learn…

  • The four pressure points of a horse’s mouth and how they are utilized by different mouthpieces. (Critical information)
  • The advantages and disadvantages of several types of snaffle bits.
  • A detailed description of a wide variety of curb bits and how they effect a horse’s performance.
  • What to look for concerning the size and shape of a horse’s mouth.
  • The name and description of the different parts of a bit.
  • How to avoid wearing out a horse’s mouth. (Numb or cold jawed)
  • The type of bit to use on a horse that refuses to flex at the poll.
  • How your horse’s teeth effect the bitting process.
  • The type of metal a bit should be made of. (A lot of bits are made of material horses don’t like)
  • The type of mouthpiece to use on a horse with an injured tongue.
  • An understanding of a bits “balance”, “signal” and “release”. (Very important)
  • The advantages and disadvantages of various types of shanks. (Every kind of shank imaginable is covered)
  • How the weight of a bit effects its performance.
  • Which bit designs are best suited for reining, cutting and western pleasure.
  • What bits work best on a hard-mouthed horse.

At the end of his lecture, Greg does a live demonstration with a two-year-old filly. First, he checks the filly up in a snaffle to teach her to drop her nose and give to the bit. He then rides the filly to demonstrate flexion and lightness.

This video contains the absolute best information I’ve ever found on bits and bitting.

I think you’ll love it.

“Hackamore (Bosal) Training"
With Dick Pieper

When it’s done the right way, a horse that’s been trained in the hackamore (bosal) will be the lightest, most responsive horse you’ll ever ride. That’s because, when you use a hackamore, you can’t force a horse to perform. He must be taught.

Strong-arm tactics that you can get away with when using a bit just won’t work with a hackamore. Because of this, hackamore training usually produces a horse that is more confident, supple, light and responsive.

In this video, top reining horse trainer Dick Pieper demonstrates the techniques he uses to get his horses “finger tip” light without the use of force. Master these simple techniques and you’ll be amazed at what you can get your horse to do.

Here’s a small sample of what you’ll learn…

  • What the difference is between a good hackamore and a bad hackamore. (Very important)
  • What size hackamore you should get and how to adjust it on your horse’s head.
  • How to use your hands and legs to get your horse supple and light.
  • A technique for handling the reins to teach your horse to give his head without a fight.
  • How to teach your horse to flex at the poll using the hackamore.
  • How to teach your horse to move off leg pressure.
  • The proper way of teaching your horse correct circles. (Very detailed)
  • How to teach your horse to stop with just a light touch of one rein. (You’ve probably never seen this method before)
  • How to teach your horse to spin using the hackamore.
  • The #1 mistake horses make when learning to spin.
  • How to teach your horse to cross his front legs for smooth spins.
  • How to get your horse to plant his inside pivot foot while spinning. (It’s easier than you might think)

The important thing to realize about this tape is that it shows you an alternative training technique. If you’ve been having problems teaching your horse to be light and correct, you may find the answer to those problems in this video.

I also want to point out that Dick does an excellent job of explaining the proper sequence of the training. That is, he shows you step #1, then step #2 and when to go to step #3 etc. You’ll have a clear understanding of how to put a solid foundation on your horse. And, how to build on that foundation until your horse is naturally sliding and spinning. Quite frankly, it’s an awesome video!

A note for serious horsemen only: The most beautiful stops I’ve ever seen in my life were performed by horses that were trained in the hackamore. If you are dead serious about getting good at this, I strongly recommend that you read the book “Hackamore Reinsman” by Ed Connell, available through tack stores and catalogs.

This 94 page book is strictly a manual of instruction so it’s very tedious to read. However, if you’ll force yourself to read it at least 10 times, you’ll gain an understanding of hackamore training that very few people have. The book also shows the correct way to tie the reins to the hackamore. Combine what you learn in the video along with the book and you’ll know how to train superior reining horses.

“Training & Showing the Reining Horse”
With Bob Loomis

I love this video! Why? Because it addresses important issues that other training videos don’t. Bob did this demonstration in front of a live audience. He was relaxed, in a great mood and really opened up to the audience.

He shared with them critical information that just isn’t available on any other video I’ve seen. In fact, I’ll go so far as to say, “The missing ingredients that could really advance your horse’s performance are to be found in this tape."

Here’s what you’ll learn…

  • The difference between training a young horse and an older horse for reining. (If your horse is more than 4 years old you need to hear what Bob has to say. It’s the absolute truth)
  • Form to function. Why and how a horse needs to use his body.
  • Bobs techniques for teaching stops, lead changes, circles, spins and backing.
  • Show ring preparation. (Mental and physical)
  • What to do if your horse refuses to do a good stop.
  • How to teach your horse speed control in circles and on the straight-away.
  • How to teach your horse to do a fast back-up without pulling hard on the reins.
  • Techniques for fencing your horse that will really improve his stop.
  • How to tell if your horse has the proper skeletal structure to be a good performance horse.
  • How to put more speed in your horse’s spin.
  • The #1 “control element” of a horse’s body. ( It’s not what you might think)
  • What to do if the training starts to go wrong.
  • How to control the front legs for a smoother, cleaner spin.
  • How to know if you’re putting too much pressure on your horse. (This will keep you from ruining your horse)
  • The difference in training an aggressive horse and a horse that’s calm and laid-back.

Bob did a fantastic job in this video. I especially liked the stopping demonstration he did on a three year old palomino mare. The mare just flat refused to stop. Bob had to give her some serious correction before she decided to try. By the end of the demonstration she was stopping like a good one.

I’m sure you’ll love this tape as much as I do.

P.S. You may have viewed Bob’s other videos (for sale in tack stores). Those videos are good, but in this video you’ll get a much clearer understanding of Bob’s training techniques. Especially the sliding stops and collection.

Running time is approximately 1 hour 15 minute DVD
